A fantastic upturn in form for Oxford United has seen them climb the League One table and possibly into playoff contention.
A very impressive couple of weeks for the U’s has seen the team gain 10 points from a possible 12, scoring an incredible 12 goals without conceding. Another emphatic 3-0 victory on Saturday against Gillingham following on from the exceptional 6-0 away victory at Lincoln not to mention beating Premier League West Ham on Wednesday in the Carabao Cup has seen Karl Robinson’s men rocket up the table and bring new hope to the club.
It seems the fears of relegation which had been the primary concern of fans just a few weeks ago have been long forgotten after a real purple patch for the club which has seen them come within touching distance of the Play-Offs.
With James Henry, Matty Taylor and Tariqe Fosu showing no signs of slowing down for the goal-hungry side, allied with a very impressive defensive run which has seen them keep 5 consecutive clean sheets, U’s supporters are not surprisingly extremely happy with the current form and are understandably optimistic about the season ahead.
