Bradford City poised to sign QPR striker

QPR striker Aramide Oteh is set to join League Two Bradford City on loan as reported by West London Sport.

The twenty-one-year-old forward is well down the pecking order at Loftus Road and the West London outfit are looking to loan him out to get some game time, and the Bantams are in the driving seat to land his signature.

Oteh spent the second half of last season on loan at Walsall, where he made four starts and scored one goal in his total of eleven appearances in all competitions.

He’s scored twice in eleven outings for Rangers, which includes three starts in the Championship, since making his debut at the end of 2017.

However, he is yet to feature this season, and the report claims Valley Parade is the likely destination for the young prospect to continue his development.

He is highly thought of at Rangers and signed a new three-year deal with the R’s in 2018, keeping him at the club until at least the summer of 2021.

Our View

Could be a decent signing for Bradford who did a lot of business in the early part of the window.

The question is, will he play if the report is accurate?

The Bantams are not short of quality in attack with Vaughan and Donaldson, but Oteh is younger and quicker and will offer a different option for Bantams boss Gary Bowyer.

Many Rangers fans rate him, and it will be interesting how this one pans out.
