The twenty-year-old has made seven senior outings for the Potters since making his debut in the EFL Cup in 2017.

He is a Stoke academy product, but his career has faltered under Nathan Jones. He’s made just one senior outing for the Welshman this season and was left out of the squad altogether for the visit to Birmingham on Saturday.

The Belgian’s frustration at his lack of game time means he would be open to a move away from the Britannia Stadium in search of regular first-team football.

Sky claims the winger is currently in Bolton for a medical ahead of his proposed switch, which according to local reports, is likely to be a loan move.

Our View

Many Stoke fans feel Nathan Jones has got this wrong and that the youngster should be playing.

He’s highly rated amongst plenty of Potters fans, and if Bolton can pull the signing off, it would be an incredible piece of business.

But they are likely to face competition for his signature, and although he is reportedly in Bolton for a medical, this one could go down to the wire.
