Bradford City’s relegation from League One was finally confirmed on Good Friday after their 2-0 away defeat to Coventry City.
Goals from Hiwula-Mayifuila and Enobakhare at the Ricoh Arena, coupled with Rochdale’s win over Wycombe and Scunthorpe’s goalless draw with Blackpool condemned the Bantams to fourth tier football next season for the first time since they achieved promotion through the playoffs in 2012/2013.
Bradford have one just ten games all season and have lost their last seven in a row. Since the turn of the year, they have tasted victory only three times and lost twelve matches.
It has been a truly dreadful season for the loyal Bantams faithful, and many took to Twitter to respond to a Tweet by the club promising to be back and boasting of already selling 13,500 season tickets for next season.
Here is a selection of their responses to the Tweet in which many called for, amongst other things, a total squad rebuild with the attitude of the current players seriously called into question.
