League Two Attendances as Population Percentage

Attendances are often the refuge of a team not doing so well. They’re a measure of how big a club is, or isn’t.

Last season, the benchmark for League Two sides seemed to be getting more fans in their ground than the former Premier League side, Coventry. Not winning on the pitch? Never mind, we’re better supported than you.

However, getting 3,000 from a huge City is much easier than attracting 2,500 in the countryside, so just who are the best supported teams in League Two? Thanks to Somerset Live, we can now bring you the best supported sides with attendances by population.

We know these numbers are loose and that club’s fans come from a wider catchment area, but they’re still worth looking at.

Hold on to your hats, this will cause some debate.
