Gillingham manager Steve Lovell has completed the signing of Connor Ogilvie from Tottenham Hotspur.
22-year old Ogilvie joins the Gills for a second time, having made 42 appearances last season.
The left-back arrives at Priestfield on loan until December and will go straight into the squad to face Barnsley at Oakwell tomorrow, if selected.
Ogilvie started his career in Tottenham Hotspur’s academy and, after progressing through the ranks he was included in the squad for the first team in the UEFA Europa League. He was an unused substitute bench in a 2–2 draw against Benfica in March 2014.
He’s since had two loan spells with Stevenage and has received England U16 and U17 caps.
Our View
Ogilvie is one who seems to have stuttered a little in his career after impressing early on at Spurs.
He was solid for Gillingham last season though and their fans will be delighted to see him back in the squad for their League One campaign.
