  • 1st Prediction For Millwall vs Leicester City: Match Result – Millwall – 8/5
  • 2nd Prediction For Millwall vs Leicester City: Over 2.5 Goals – 11/10
  • 3rd Prediction For Millwall vs Leicester City: Both Teams To Score – Yes – 5/6

1st Prediction For Millwall vs Leicester City: Match Result – Millwall – 8/5

The Den has long lost its reputation for being an intimidating place for visiting supporters, but it is becoming a tough place for Championship sides to visit once more. Millwall have won 3 of their last 4 games in South Bermondsey, after successive losses to begin their campaign on home soil. What has been even more impressive is the calibre of opposition, defeating West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City this month.

Leicester began the season with 3 wins from 4, but have since been frustrated in the second tier. One win in 7 games has seen them stumble out of the Play-Off places, though 5 of those matches have been draws. The Foxes’ only 2 defeats this season have been away from home, including Tuesday evening’s reverse at Hull City, meaning it’s just 1 win in 4 away from the East Midlands.

But, Millwall are well set to continue their recent run of form, and should put out another big statement against a former Premier League side.

2nd Prediction For Millwall vs Leicester City: Over 2.5 Goals – 11/10

Millwall have been relatively low-scoring at home this term, averaging a goal a game in their league 6 games. But, they have been scoreless in 3 of their encounters, and all 6 of their goals have come in the last 4 games. Conceding 9, a tally which only 3 Championship sides are worse in that department, have come from convincing losses.

Coventry City are well clear in terms of away goals, but their rivals up the M69 rank second in that department with 9 goals. A third of that tally came at Swansea City before the international break, while the Foxes have managed to score in every game on the road this term in all competitions. With that in mind, expect goals at both ends tomorrow afternoon.

3rd Prediction For Millwall vs Leicester City: Both Teams To Score – Yes – 5/6

None of the Lions’ 6 home league games this season have both teams found the back of the net; this has only been achieved once in the Carabao Cup back in August. Games away from The Den have provided more goalmouth action at both ends, but it does seem a consistent theme for Millwall this season.

As mentioned above, Leicester have scored in each of their 7 away games across all competitions. Since drawing to their rivals Coventry, the Foxes’ last 5 encounters have seen both teams find the back of the net. Something has to give this weekend if both teams are to find the back of the net, but expect that to be the case tomorrow afternoon.

Full Preview Of The Game: Last Results And Head-To-Head:

Injury-hit Millwall are defying the odds in the Championship this season, moving into third place in midweek with their third victory in succession. Alex Neil has no fewer than 9 players out currently, including 2 goalkeepers and Will Smallbone, who picked up a hamstring knock against Stoke on Tuesday evening. The Lions were already 2 to the good by the time he was substituted in the first period, with Femi Azeez opening the scoring with his third goal in as many games.

Edging past London rivals Queens Park Rangers last Saturday, Millwall have quickly recovered from their 4-0 thrashing by Coventry at the start of the month. Before the last international break, they provided an immediate response against another side from the West Midlands, West Bromwich Albion, by winning 3-0. Before the final 2-week hiatus of 2025, the Lions are on the road at Oxford United and Birmingham City before hosting Preston North End.

Leicester lost for the first time in 2 months on Tuesday evening to Hull City, ending their 8-game unbeaten streak since losing at Preston North End. Frustratingly for Martí Cifuentes’ side, that run included 4 straight draws after winning twice without conceding at the end of August. In fact, all their September games ended level, with 2 coming against fellow promotion-chasing sides and Midlands rivals Coventry and West Brom.

That spell came to an end away at Swansea City earlier in October, and they looked to be heading for successive victories against Portsmouth last Saturday evening. But, they were miles off the pace in the second period against Pompey, before slipping to a rare loss at the Tigers in midweek to fall outside the top six. Blackburn Rovers and high-flying Middlesbrough are next up at the King Power Stadium, before travelling to lowly Norwich City.
