First Prediction for Queens Park Rangers vs Oxford United – Queens Park Rangers to winÂ
QPR are the clear favourites heading into this meeting. As a combination or a bet-builder, this could land as a very possible leg. The away side have been very poor so far in the campaign, languishing in 24th place. Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday have been lauded as dreadful starters, but Gary Rowett’s side find themselves underneath the Steel Derby players.
Rangers will be heading into this match with three wins out of their last five. A draw against Wednesday came after a run of victories against Charlton Athletic, Wrexham and Stoke City. Bouncing back from a strangely much-needed, 7-1 defeat to Coventry City, has seen QPR improve drastically in defence and be able to utilise their dangerous attack. The various summer signings and attacking quality assets could prove to be far too much for a struggling Oxford side.

Second Prediction for Queens Park Rangers vs Oxford United – Richard Kone to score anytimeÂ
Kone is a proven goalscorer at League One level, and has so far made the setp up in divisions look seamless. The Ivorian striker has a tremendous story, considering how he rose from the Homeless World Cup to the top level in the EFL. Kone has scored three goals in just six matches. Limited play time makes this feat even more impressive. The attacking quality that QPR have, is epitomised by their 22-year-old striker.
Oxford United brought Rowett in to bolster their defensive resilience, however with the London side occupying last place, QPR could capitalise on a very poor outfit. In all fairness, the fixture list has been unfavourable for Oxford, with impressive wins against Coventry and Leicester showing there are signs of a good side, but shipping six goals at home to Brighton & Hove Albion, as well as four in the aforementioned matches, suggest they are susceptible defensively.
Kone scored 21 goals in his second season with Wycombe Wanderers and could be a major asset for Rangers this campaign. With the likes of Koki Saito, Rumarn Burrell and Harvey Vale behind him and on form, the 22-year-old will be raring to go against Oxford.

Third Prediction for Queens Park Rangers vs Oxford United – Oxford United – Under 1.5 goals
Only scoring nine goals in the league season suggests that Oxford need to improve massively in front of goal. Without an out-and-out goalscorer in the lineup, despite Mark Harris previously being – and Will Lankshear impressing, Rowett’s side could struggle to add many to their tally here.
QPR have adapted since they shipped seven goals to Coventry. Being moulded into a more balanced side has allowed the Londoners to hunt for the play-off places. With Jimmy Dunne back to full fitness, Rangers will be bolstering their defence week by week as returning assets make their way into the lineup.

Full Preview of the Game – Last Results and Head-To-Head
Queens Park Rangers have won on three occasions in the league, with victories all coming in a row recently. Prior to a Sheffield Wednesday draw, QPR looked immense. Two draws and a 7-1 loss to the Sky Blues are the other results for the London club.
Oxford United are looking to add their second win of the season. Their only victory so far came against in-form Bristol City not too long ago. Four defeats have ultimately landed Oxford in the relegation places, in dire need of a result at Loftus Road.
Head-to-head games between these two Championship teams have seen no draws and four QPR victories. In the last six meetings, Oxford have managed to reign victories twice, in club friendlies. However, last season, the R’s achieved the double with a 2-0 home win and a 3-1 battering in the away instalment.
