Matthew Dennis is the current, leading goalscorer of League Two. Dennis has been exceptional since his move up from the National League. Having been lauded as direct competition for Alassana Jatta, the two have formed a great partnership as well as allowing the 23-year-old to outperform the Gambian.
With six goals already in just 667 minutes so far, Dennis could strike again if he returns to fitness for a trip to Crewe. Having moved from Carlisle United in the summer, the Englishman has made the step up look seamless, having spent multiple seasons with Milton Keynes Dons prior.
Considering the striker is re-entering a side that have just put four past League Two opposition in their recent game, Dennis will be hungry to add to a league-leading tally.
