Lincoln head into this game on a run of right games unbeaten in all competitions. They’ve tasted defeat just once all season, with that coming against AFC Wimbledon in early August. The Imps have long been known for being one of the toughest sides to beat in League One, something which the likes of Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic will surely agree with. Both teams have recently struggled to break down Michael Skubala’s team, picking up points in their respective clashes with the East Midlands-based outfit. It’s fair to say that the duo were both the better teams by far, showing just how resilient Lincoln are.

James Collins recently scored his 200th and 201st career EFL goals when he bagged a brace against Wigan earlier this month. He has four goals to his name this season in eight appearances, mirroring his strike rate from last season with the Imps when he scored 10 times in 20 outings.
The 34-year-old has looked a constant threat for Skubala’s team this season and has previously enjoyed success against Luton He scored in back-to-back games against the Hatters for Crawley Town during the 2016/17 season and would love to add to that tally here. If Luton are to keep Lincoln at bay, they will do well by keeping Collins quiet.
