A loss at fellow predicted strugglers Burton Albion on the opening day continued their poor run into the new season, and they’ll be hoping a home victory this weekend will put that right despite facing a Doncaster side riding the crest of a wave. They won their first game back in League One against Exeter on opening weekend after coming up from League Two, with a strong second half of the campaign helping them up. The South Yorkshire club have all the momentum but it’s hard to judge on one game back in the league. Being the away side, they are probably underdogs here but it will be close.

This should be an entertaining game with plenty of goals. Mansfield leaked two in their opening game against Burton, while Doncaster will find themselves under the cosh owing to their status as a newly promoted team.
