Queens Park Rangers have moved to secure the future of Swiss striker Michael Frey amid ongoing managerial uncertainty at Loftus Road.

The 30-year-old joined QPR from Royal Antwerp in January 2024 and initially struggled to find the net at Loftus Road. However, he managed to hit double figures across all competitions during the 2024/25 campaign, ending the season with 10 goals. Frey’s extension comes just weeks after Spanish boss Marti Cifuentes was placed on gardening leave following a turbulent campaign.
