Our Three Predictions For Blackburn Rovers vs Norwich City:
- First Prediction For Blackburn Rovers vs Norwich City: Match Result – Draw – 53/25

- Third Prediction For Blackburn Rovers vs Norwich City: Josh Sargent To Score Anytime – 13/5
First Prediction For Blackburn Rovers vs Norwich City: Match Result – Draw – 53/25
Draws for both these sides aren’t actually that common, but it is so hard to separate them on paper, giving reason for a stalemate on Saturday. Only four points separate them in the standings in what is becoming an increasingly congested battle for the final two Play-Off spots. In their past six, Norwich have three losses on the road, while Blackburn have the same amount of defeats at Ewood Park in that timeframe. Rovers though possess one of the leading home records in the division though, winning ten of their seventeen outings. The Canaries have found it harder to get results away from Carrow Road, but have won two of their last five which is the same amount as the twelve games prior. With a chance for Blackburn to move clear of the chasing pack before the later games, and for Norwich to move within a point of the top six, expect a closely fought game.
Second Prediction For Blackburn Rovers vs Norwich City: Under 3.5 Goals – 1/4
Norwich have actually been relatively poor scorers on their travels, with only five sides finding the net fewer times than Johannes Hoff Thorup’s men. Injuries though to key men in forward areas caused them plenty of issues earlier on in the campaign, so they will be hopeful of adding to their tally on Saturday. The Canaries also arrive fresh off the back of scoring four against Stoke, so will be wanting to continue their goalscoring momentum. Blackburn meanwhile have managed at least two goals in three of their past four games in East Lancashire, but they have failed to net in their last three home losses. Rovers record at the other end also points to a low scoring encounter, conceding just fourteen in seventeen home outings.
Third Prediction For Blackburn Rovers vs Norwich City: Josh Sargent To Score Anytime – 13/5
Josh Sargent’s tally of eleven with five assists is already an impressive feat, but when you factor in that he missed two and a half months of action, and has only played twenty times, it is even more stunning. Since his first start back from injury against Swansea, he has scored seven times in six games, including a brace against Stoke in their last outing. The American international also found the net in the reverse encounter, and there is no reason why he can’t continue his hot spell in front of goal with another crucial one at Blackburn on Saturday.

Full Preview Of The Game: Last Results And Head-To-Head:
Norwich have re-entered the Play-Off conversation after a solid February leaves them four points adrift of Rovers before their Saturday lunchtime showdown. A Canaries win would be welcomed by a host of sides looking to finish in the final two spots in the top six, with the East Anglian side needing to leapfrog three sides before they reach Blackburn.
Johannes Hoff Thorup and his players were made to work for the points to record a first win in four at the weekend, needing two goals in the final twenty minutes to see off a resurgent Stoke side. They had previously drawn against Hull and Derby, while Preston left Carrow Road with all three points a few weeks ago. Norwich had begun the month though with a crucial three points at Watford, while they ended January with a fine showing, putting five past Swansea.
Rovers meanwhile found the South Welsh outfit a much tougher opposition, with Luke Williams no longer in the dugout after being sacked. The side in the top six were expected to ease to victory on the road against a team that had lost eight in ten, but the Swans put three past Blackburn without reply. The Lancashire side appointed former Barnsley, West Brom and Watford manager Valérien Ismaël as their new head coach on Tuesday afternoon. He replaces John Eustace, who departed for relegation-threatened Derby County earlier in the month.
Eustace had been gone for the previous two games, and there was seemingly no impact as Rovers won both games. They moved above West Brom to cement their spot in the top six after beating the Baggies, then eased to a home win against Plymouth. Exiting the FA Cup against Premier League Wolves was no disgrace, while their only other game in February came in West London and saw QPR narrowly beat Blackburn. At current, Rovers currently have a one point gap inside the top six, with several sides looking to take advantage of any slip up in East Lancashire.
Yuki Ohashi struck late in an entertaining draw between the sides earlier in the campaign, after the Canaries prolific frontmen Sargent and Sainz had the home side ahead. Blackburn may hold the better head-to-head record over history with 22 wins to Norwich’s sixteen, but they have only won three of the past fourteen. On the flip side, Rovers have lost one of the past seven in this encounter.
