1st Prediction For Derby County v Leeds United: Match Result – Leeds United – 1/2
Derby County have won just one of their last five matches at Pride Park and welcoming a Leeds side with just one loss in eight is a daunting prospect. Leeds beat Derby a few weeks ago at Elland Road and should have too much for their hosts this time around.
2nd Prediction For Derby County v Leeds United: Over 2.5 Goals – 17/20
Derby County have scored six goals in the last five but Leeds have smashed ten in that time and 19 in their last eight, including four against Oxford United and Swansea City. Leeds average 1.9 goals scored per game while Derby have managed 1.2.
3rd Prediction For Derby County v Leeds United: Daniel James To Score Anytime – 5/2
Daniel James has scored five league goals so far this season and finds himself in a rich vein of form with three goals in his last six outings. James has proven to be a pest for defenders, outdoing his xG and not being afraid to take a shot on.

Full Preview Of The Game: Last Results And Head-To-Head:
Derby County welcome Daniel Farke’s Leeds to Pride Park for this festive fixture having taken advantage of the upheaval at West Bromwich Albion to claim a vital Boxing Day victory.
Paul Warne’s side had won just once in eight Championship matches prior to their 2-1 success over managerless West Brom at Pride Park. The result leaves the Rams in 14th place in the table with 27 points, eight of the bottom three and ten behind the playoff spots.
Top scorer Jerry Yates netted the opener on Boxing Day, his fifth of the season, and Kenzo Goudmijn notched his second assist of the campaign.
Leeds United went back to the top of the Championship thanks to a Boxing Day victory over a struggling Stoke City side at the Bet365 Stadium.
The Elland Road outfit have lost just twice in their last 18 outings and have won four of the last five, dropping their only points in a 1-1 draw at Preston North End.
Sheffield United’s defeat at home to Burnley allowed Leeds to get back to the summit on goal difference, with both clubs claiming 48 points from 23 games.
Top scorer Joel Piroe scored his eighth and ninth goals of the season in Staffordshire as Daniel James chalked up his third assist of the campaign.
The last 20 meetings between these sides have seen eight wins apiece with four draws. The last meeting came just a matter of weeks ago at Elland Road, with Leeds United running out 2-0 winners thanks to Joe Rodon and Max Wober. Prior to that, the two sides had not met since July 2020 in a Championship game played in the summer due to Covid. It was again Leeds United who came out on top, this time at Pride Park, with goals from Pablo Hernandez, Jamie Shackleton and a Matthew Clarke own goal cancelling out Chris Martin’s opener for a 3-1 victory. Leeds would be crowned champions and gain promotion to the Premier League at the end of the disrupted season.
Derby County’s last victory came in impressive and dramatic fashion at Elland Road back in 2019 during a Championship playoff semi final second leg. The Rams, under the stewardship of Frank Lampard, went into the match 1-0 down from the home leg but managed to turn the tie around despite going one down on the day to Stuart Dallas. Jack Marriott equalised before Mason Mount and a Harry Wilson penalty put Derby ahead in the tie. Dallas struck again just after the hour to make it 3-3 on aggregate before Marriott dramatically sent Derby to Wembley with a fourth goal five minutes from time.
