  • 2nd Prediction For Fleetwood Town v Accrington Stanley: Match Result – Draw – 49/20

1st Prediction For Fleetwood Town v Accrington Stanley: Over 2.5 Goals – 4/5

Fleetwood Town against Accrington Stanley should deliver goals! Both of these teams score an average of 1.4 goals per, with Fleetwood conceding 1.3 and Accrington 1.8. These stats mean that games involving these sides have contained just short of three goals.

2nd Prediction For Fleetwood Town v Accrington Stanley: Match Result – Draw – 49/20

Both these sides are in a poor run of form and will be looking to get back on track. Fleetwood have already drawn seven games this season while Accrington have seen six end in stalemate. Both sides have shown their abilities to score goals but keeping them out has been a more difficult challenge. A high scoring draw would not be a surprising result.

3rd Prediction For Fleetwood Town v Accrington Stanley: Both Teams To Score – Yes – 8/11

Fleetwood do keep clean sheets, seven in the league, but have conceded nine goals in their last four matches. In those four games, there have been a total of 13 strikes. Accrington’s last four have produced 18 goals, with Stanley scoring seven of those. With the free scoring nature of the the most recent fixtures, it is hard to see a clean sheet in this one.

Full Preview Of The Game: Last Results And Head-To-Head:

Fleetwood Town welcome Accrington Stanley to the Highbury Stadium looking to kick start their thus far disappointing season. Charlie Adam’s men find themselves in 16th position in League Two with 22 points from 17 games. Their last win came over a month ago against Bradford City and that is their only victory in 10 matches across all competitions.

The club are set to embark on a busy Christmas and New Year period that sees some vital fixtures against sides at the bottom end of the table such as Harrogate Town and Carlisle United, beginning with Monday’s huge game against Accrington Stanley.

Accrington Stanley make the trip west to Fleetwood sitting just four points above the drop zone. Stanley have won just one league game in their last seven, that victory coming against Chesterfield in an impressive 3-0 victory. The fixture at the Highbury Stadium kicks off a crucial run of matches against the sides who are in and around the bottom of the table. Away trips to Tranmere Rovers, Carlisle United and Colchester United are all to come before the second week of January and could go someway to deciding Stanley’s season.

The last meeting between the sides came in League One at the end of the 2022/23 season at Accrington’s Wham Stadium. Visitors Fleetwood ran out 5-2 victors against their ten man hosts. Jack Marriott, now of Wrexham, blasted a hat-trick for the Cod Army with Promise Omochere and Phoenix Patterson completing the rout. Michael Nottingham and Tommy Leigh had given Accrington a glimmer of hope after having Liam Coyle sent off.

During the 2022/23 season, Fleetwood completed the double over Accrington as they added to the 5-2 away win with a comprehensive 3-0 success at Highbury. The impressive Carlos Mendes opened the scoring before turning provider for Shaun Rooney and Josh Earl.

Stanley had beaten Fleetwood twice in the previous campaign, winning 5-1 at home thanks to a brace each for Ethan Hamilton and Colby Bishop, with the latter adding two assists to his impressive performance. John Coleman’s men then defeated the Cod Army by two goals to one at Highbury Stadium thanks to a 94th minute Michael Nottingham strike.

Across the last fifteen meeatings, it has been impossible to separate these two teams as both have achieved six victories and played out three draws.
