Our Three Predictions For Queens Park Rangers v Stoke City
- Prediction 1 – Stoke City To Win – 42/25
- Prediction 2 – QPR To Win – 153/100
- Prediction 3 – Both Teams To Score – Yes – 7/10
First Prediction For Queens Park Rangers v Stoke City – Stoke City To Win – 42/25
Stoke City finally got their rewards for some good performance, when before the International break, they secured a fine 2-0 win away from home at Blackburn Rovers. Before then on the road they pushed Premier League Southampton in the League Cup, before losing 3-2. They have had a tough run of games away, coming up short against Oxford United, Sheffield United, and Middlesbrough. They should be too much for QPR though, the R’s are in woeful from home and away and picking up points in something of a premium at Loftus Road. The last six Championship games they have conceded 11 goals and that is far too much at any level.
Second Prediction For Queens Park Rangers v Stoke City – QPR To Win – 153/100
You could say QPR are due a win. That old cliche can be wheeled out here for a team that has not won a game in any competition since August 30. A run of 12 games. They have picked up some points, a battling goalless draw at Burnley was followed up with the same scoreline against leaders Sunderland. They know they can get positive results against big sides, and this bodes well coming into this game against a Stoke side that is hovering around mid table, a team that is showing signs already of being safe for another season. They will also take heart from the fact that in the last four meetings between the two, Rangers have won twice and drawn another.
Third Prediction For Queens Park Rangers v Stoke City – Both Teams To Score – Yes – 7/10
This is likely to be the most certain of the three predictions for this game. QPR are under huge pressure to get a result, and their home form is good in terms of scoring, five in the last six, even if results haven’t been great. Stoke have scored a brace in their last two trips away, and are likely to bag at least one in this match against the bottom side.

Full Preview Of The Game: Last Results And Head To Head
Marti Cifuentes is under pressure. His QPR side have fallen slowly to the bottom of the pile, and seemingly there is a long way to get them back into any kind of form that has them climbing up and away from the relegation fight. That said they do stay in games, and their spirit and desire has not been snuffed out entirely. To get anything from this game they will need to be a lot tighter at the back, and despite some good play at the back from Jimmy Dunne and Steve Cook, they let too many goals in. The attack will depend on how well Koki Saito plays, the Japanese midfielder is holding things together but having yet to get off the mark himself, he will need others to chip in where scoring is concerned.
Stoke City are another team that blows hot and cold. They are though currently unbeaten in three, having won against Derby County and Blackburn, and last time out a credible draw against Millwall. Once again Narcis Pelach will be relying on young Irish attacker Thomas Cannon in front of goal, having netted six times already he will be aiming to get on the scoresheet again. With QPR bound to be piling on the pressure in this game, look out for Ben Gibson to have a busy afternoon in the centre of defence.
