Our 3 predictions for Leeds United vs Queens Park Rangers

  • 1st prediction: Leeds United to win or draw 1/50
  • 2nd prediction: Under 3.5 goals in the game 14/25
  • 3rd prediction: Both teams to score – No 3/4

1st prediction for Leeds United vs Queens Park Rangers: Leeds United to win or draw 1/50

This is an easy prediction to make; Leeds have been fantastic so far this season while QPR have been poor. Leeds have only lost once all season while QPR have only won once and find themselves only a point off the foot of the table. The visitors have not won since August and Leeds are particularly strong at home, so the result seems fairly certain, but we all know the Championship can spring surprises.

2nd prediction for Leeds United vs Queens Park Rangers: Under 3.5 goals in the game 14/25

This isn’t likely to be a game filled with goals. While QPR lost their last game 4-1 to Middlesbrough, their previous two games were goalless draws. They are the second lowest scorers in the league thus far, and struggle to score against stronger opposition, so likely won’t hit the net in this game. As for Leeds, they have a strong defence so it’s likely QPR won’t breach it. They are fairly decent in attack though, so may get a couple, but it’s likely not going to be a thrashing.

3rd prediction for Leeds United vs Queens Park Rangers: Both teams to score – No 3/4

Again, this game won’t be a high scorer, and any goals are likely to come from the home side. QPR have fired a blank in three of their last six and have really struggled to click in front of goal, which has been a key part of their struggles. This, coupled with Leeds’ defensive solidity, means it’s likely Leeds will be the only ones celebrating goals on Saturday.

Full preview of the game: last results and head to head

This is a key game at the both ends of the table; a Leeds win could put them in the automatic promotion spots and send QPR to the foot of the table, whereas a QPR win would boost their survival hopes hugely. The two sides couldn’t be more different; Leeds with ambitions for promotions while QPR look to battle relegation and get as far away from the drop as they can.  Recent form reflects this, with the visitors winless since August and Leeds unbeaten since losing to rivals Burnley in September.

In this fixture’s past, it’s a mixed picture. The teams got a win each in the last two seasons and the points have been shared for several years. Based on current form, though, it would be a surprise if Leeds don’t win this one.
