FA Cup Ball Numbers Revealed Ahead Of Second Round Draw

The FA have revealed the ball numbers for the FA Cup second round draw which takes place on Sunday night.

This weekend sees the historic competition complete its first round proper fixtures, with Tamworth and Notts County already securing a place in the hat. Non-league Tamworth have already produced arguably the biggest shock of the opening round after they produced a magnificent 1-0 win over League One’s Huddersfield Town on Friday night. Meanwhile, Notts County recovered from a goal down to ease past Alfreton Town with a 5-1 victory.

The second round is the final one before Championship and Premier League clubs enter the fray. Before that though, the majority of teams will have to navigate two tough fixtures before they earn themselves a potential money-spinning tie in the third round.

The draw is set to place during Monday night’s FA Cup Highlights show on BBC 2 at around 7:45pm. Following the scrapping of replays earlier this year, all teams in the draw will be known by the time the draw takes place, with the exception of Chesham United and Lincoln City who play on Sunday night.
