Leeds United have agreed to sell Luis Sinisterra to A.F.C. Bournemouth for a fee of £20 million, according to Mark McAdam of Sky Sports News.
The Colombian has been on loan at the Cherries since the beginning of this season and has already featured for the club 15 times in the Premier League, scoring on two occasions.
Sinisterra signed for the Whites from Dutch side Feyenoord in the July of 2022 for an undisclosed fee. During his time at Elland Road, he made a total of 26 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals.
Documents are now being prepared to make the deal official, and an announcement is anticipated this week according to a report from Fabrizio Romano. The 24-year-old is a Colombian international, with 11 caps for his country so far.
Leeds have coped well with the absence of Sinisterra so far this season, with Crysencio Summerville filling the void in the left-wing position. The Dutchman has 12 goals and seven assists so far in the Championship in 27 games. Daniel Farke’s side sit third in the table currently, and will be looking at an immediate return to the top flight.
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola revealed in December that he was happy with the winger’s progress, and highlighted an area in his game that he perhaps doesn’t get the credit he deserves.
““Sini (Luis Sinisterra) started his first game today, he contributed in the first goal. I think Sini is an aerial threat, he looks so small and probably doesn’t receive the respect but he’s very good in training with his headers. We can use it very well and in the corner we scored against Newcastle he was the first one to touch it.”
Bournemouth are currently 12th in the Premier League table, a whole eight points clear of the relegation zone. They face Fulham away from home in their next game on Saturday.

The 24-year-old winger is a very talented player and has made an impact for the Cherries in recent weeks despite joining the club with an injury initially. He has all the attributes a winger in the top flight needs and has proven he can do it against the best with a goal against Manchester City this season.
Leeds will feel they are well covered with how their forward line has played this season, making the deal a win for all parties involved. Sinisterra will now be hoping that he can really kick on at Bournemouth, and help them to safety this season.
