“I Believe It Is All Signed And Delivered” – Derby County Boss Makes Transfer Admission

Derby County are set to renew striker Tyreece John-Jules loan deal with the club, with the deal looking finalised according to manager Paul Warne.

John-Jules, who has been on loan with Derby since joining on loan from Premier League side at the start of the season looks set to return to the Rams for the second part of the season.

The 21-year-old, who has suffered injury problems during his loan spell, has turned out 12 times in all competitions for the club, with his most consistent minutes coming in recent weeks. John-Jules has notched two goals during that spell, and seems to be relishing the opportunity to play first-team football.

Despite being with the Gunners for his entire youth career, the striker is yet to make a senior appearance for the Premier League outfit. However John-Jules is proven in the professional game, having made 64 appearances between the Championship and League One which has seen him apply his trade for ; Lincoln City, Doncaster Rovers, Blackpool, Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich Town and most recently, Derby County.

Those loan spells have brought some success, and more importantly at the current minute, plenty of experience for the youngster. His performances for the Rams in the first half of the season have earned manager Warne’s trust, and it seems set that John-Jules will re-join the club for the next six months.

Speaking to BBC Radio Derby about re-signing the youngster for the second half of the season, the manager admitted that a deal was more than in the works.

“I believe it is all signed and delivered. He is staying until the end of the season, which is good because we are getting more game time out of him.”

“We still have to be really cautious with him but he had moments tonight where you can see why we want him at the football club,

“He will be a big part going forward.”

With the Rams currently sat in third in the League One table, just a singular point off of the top spot, Warne will be eyeing the automatic promotion places come the end of the campaign. Signing John-Jules will certainly help that cause, and it seems as if we’re still yet to see the best of the youngster.

The current form that Derby are in is one in which very few other teams in the league can match and as a result, they have shot up the League One table. After somewhat of a slow start, the Rams have been firing on all cylinders in recent weeks and the return of John-Jules from injury has played a part in that change of fortunes.

With his game time ever-increasing, the second half of the season could be a big one for the youngster and he could be the difference-maker to help the club push for a place in the automatic promotion spots.
