Leeds United star Wilfried Gnonto is wanted by a number of Premier League sides this January and the club has already identified a replacement for the wantaway Italian.
Gnonto handed in a transfer request during the summer window as the Peacocks were relegated back down to the Championship. Everton were said to be keen to secure his signature but a deal never came to fruition.
Nevertheless, it has been reported over the past few weeks that the Toffees are not willing to give up on signing Gnonto and will make a fresh approach for the winger when the winter window opens in a few weeks.
The Italy international’s game-time has been limited so far this season at Elland Road, with Gnonto featuring merely 10 times for Leeds and bagging one goal.
Journalist Ben Jacobs reported on Wednesday evening that Gnonto could end up staying with the Yorkshire club for the remainder of the campaign if Leeds are promoted back to the Premier League.
However, a new report from TeamTalk states that Leeds United are keeping tabs on Fenerbahce winger Ryan Kent, who is expected to be made available for loan in January. The outlet are also claiming that top-flight side Bournemouth are set to battle it out with Leeds for his signature.
The former Rangers attacker has made 14 appearances in all competitions for the Turkish side this season and has only managed to record one goal and two assists.
Kent moved to Ibrox back in 2019 for £7 million during Steven Gerrard’s time in the dugout but left the Scottish side for free during the summer and joined Fenerbahce. Now, the Turkish giants are keen to let the 27-year-old leave on loan for the rest of the season.

If these rumours are true, it seems as though Leeds United are preparing to sell the former FC Zurich man once the winter market opens and are lining up Kent as his replacement.
Nevertheless, this could be risky. Kent is not as good a player as Gnonto and the Italian’s departure could leave Daniel Farke without adequate depth for his wide players during the second half of the campaign.
