Sutton United have completed the signing of Luton Town winger Dion Pereira on loan for the remainder of the season, as confirmed by Luton Town’s official website
Sutton have bolstered their attacking options with the loan signing of Dion Pereira on deadline day.
The winger has recently spent time on loan at Yeovil and League Two side Bradford City where he struggled to nail down a first team place.
Sutton currently sit 23rd in League Two with their only win of the season being their opening day match against League Two new-boys Notts County.

As confirmed by Luton Town’s official social media pages and their official club website, Dion Pereira has joined Sutton United on loan for the remainder of the season.
Luton Town have said:
“Having joined the Hatters from Atlanta in November 2020, he has spent time out on loan at Yeovil and, over the past two seasons, with Bradford City.
The winger joins the U’s ahead of their home fixture at Forest Green on Saturday.
Good luck at Gander Green Lane, Dion! “
Sutton United have also confirmed on their website and social media and say:
“We welcome Dion to the club. He will have squad number 18.”
Who is Dion Pereira?
The young winger joined Luton from American side Atlanta United in 2020 and has continued to go out on several loan spells up and down the English Leagues.
He spent a year at Yeovil Town before joining Bradford City on loan for two seasons.
Having joined Sutton United, it’s his third club since coming back to the UK since being part of the Watford Youth Development.

I think this is a shrewd piece of business by Sutton United as Pereira can add that creativity going forward if they are to change their tactics. His pace can be well utilised with the direct football they play and i think he will flourish getting in behind teams and causing issues on the flanks.
