Lincoln City’s Finnish midfielder Alex Bradley has returned to Harrogate Town to help their push for promotion to the Football League, as reported by the Harrogate Advertiser.
He’s been joined at Weatherby Road by striker Jack Diamond, another loanee who was recently granted permission to head back to Simon Weaver’s side as they look to grab a place in the Football League. Diamond has been on loan from Sunderland, having bagged four goals in 30 outings.
As for former Burton man Bradley, he appeared 24 times and also scored four goals. Manager Weaver, a former Lincoln City player himself, was delighted to see both return.
“I’m very pleased, they’ve both performed ever so well for us,” the Town boss said. “They became a big part of the group and were pretty integral really.
“Jack Diamond just got better and better as the season went on. He became a really good outlet for us. He scared teams and it’s good to have that scare-factor in your side.
“Alex filled in at right-back as well as playing in the centre of midfield and performed very well in both positions.
“It’s good to have them back. They haven’t been in with their parent clubs, but they’ve obviously kept themselves ticking over this summer because they have both looked strong in training.”
Harrogate are set to meet the winner of Boreham Wood and Halifax in the semi-final, before a possible final date at Wembley.
We’re watching these play offs withy interest, as one of the clubs will be making a Football League appearance next season,. Harrogate Town are a club on the up and both Diamond and Bradley will be sure to add to their chances.
Bradley is a former West Brom youth who has been tipped for a role within Lincoln’s League One squad next season, so he could be a key figure for Harrogate. They’ll now be hoping that Huddersfield’s Kian Harratt is also allowed back, to complete the on loan trio.
