‘Most inconsistent player ever’ – Plenty of fans react as 25-year-old makes Blackpool switch

As we covered yesterday, Blackpool have signed former Swindon Town striker Keshi Anderson on a two-year deal.

It’s believed the Seasiders faced stiff competition from several other League One clubs, including Burton Albion and Bristol Rovers, but it is Neil Critchley’s Tangerines who have secured the early deal. Anderson, who began his career with Crystal Palace, has previously played in the third tier for Northampton Town, Bolton Wanderers, and Doncaster Rovers.

He was delighted to have secured his switch to the north-west, believing the club are on the up after a tough campaign under Simon Grayson.

“This Club is definitely moving in the right direction and there are some big plans for the future,” he told the club’s official site. “I’m really excited to see where we can go, and I can’t wait to get started.”

Manager Neil Critchley was equally as delighted, saying of the 25-year-old; “I’m thrilled we have been able to get this deal over the line for Keshi, particularly so early on in the summer.

“I think he will be a real asset to the squad going forward. He will bring a tremendous amount of quality to the team and at 25 years of age, his best playing days are ahead of him.”

Plenty of supporters have reacted to the news; Blackpool fans are clearly delighted but Swindon fans aren’t as upset as you might think, as you’ll see below.

  1. Good luck Keshi… hope you turn up for them more than you did for us… good player when he does, so probably you will see a good start with him, then probably be saying after a while .. I didn’t realise Anderson was even playing today in the side.
