Ipswich Town have sold out their allocation for their fixture with Bristol Rovers in March, despite a horrible run of form.
The Tractor Boys make a round trip in excess of 400 miles on March 14th, with 1300 expected to make the journey from Suffolk to watch their side in action.
Ipswich were early season favourites for the League One title, but they’ve plummeted to eighth in the division and are now facing an uphill battle to get themselves back into promotion contention. They’ve won just four matches in their last 21 outings, a run going back to their 1-0 win against Lincoln City in the FA Cup in November.
That’s seen them lose ground on the Championship hopefuls at the top of the table, but it isn’t a run that has put off their die-hard supporters. Even losing 1-0 to Oxford United at home this weekend hasn’t affected sales, with some Blues’ fans left disappointed at not being able to see their side in action.
The Gas are on a bad run too, they’ve won just one in sixteen and perhaps that’s led to the optimism amongst Ipswich fans. Either that, or they genuinely do have some of the best supporters in League One.
here’s what they’ve been saying about the news.

The club does maybe not the manager, players & owner don’t but the club should always have the fans support!
