Wycombe Wanderers were comprehensively beaten by Peterborough United at London Road last night.
An Ivan Toney double and goals from Dembele and Taylor meant Posh ended a run of seven games without a win with an emphatic 4-0 victory.
The win moved Darren Ferguson’s men up to seventh, level on points with Sunderland in the final playoff place and left the Chairboys second, level on points with Rotherham on top. However, the chasing pack has closed in recent weeks after a poor run of form that’s seen Gareth Ainsworth’s men register only one win in their last seven outings.
Wycombe did play seventy minutes with ten men after a controversial penalty decision and a subsequent red card for Phillips. Still, after a tremendous start to the campaign, fans are starting to become concerned at their team’s recent poor form, and supporters weren’t slow to voice their opinions when they took to social media to react to the result.
A few were critical of Ainsworth’s team selection and notorious long-ball tactics. Others feel perplexed at what has changed and feel the club should provide answers. Rival fans also responded to result, revelling in the latest defeat for the unfashionable contenders for Championship football.
Here is a selection of responses to the result on Twitter.

Yeah…..what a spectacle.
At this rate we'll be lucky to stay in League One, let alone have a chance in the play-offs.

Rough one to take, going through a bad patch happens throughout the season. Can't believe we are where we are still, and we'll get back to the good times
