Salford City have signed Lincoln City winger Bruno Andrade on a two and a half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Andrade scored eleven goals and contributed eight assists in forty-two league appearances as the Imps stormed to the League Two title last season.
The twenty-six-year-old has made twenty-three outings in all competitions this season, finding the net twice, including one of the goals of the competition in Lincoln’s second round EFL Cup tie with Everton back in August.
The Portuguese-born forward came through the ranks at QPR with Raheem Sterling before drifting into non-league. Thirty-four goals in two years at Boreham Wood persuaded Lincoln’s previous manager Danny Cowley to give him another shot at the EFL in 2018.
The transfer was greeted with delight by Salford fans on social media while many Lincoln fans questioned the motives behind the move. Andrade was touted for a possible move to the Championship in the summer and many Imps fans accused the winger of a lack of ambition and only moving for a big payday.
Fans of other League Two clubs also reacted to the news by accusing the Ammies of trying to buy the league.
None of the snipings mattered to Salford fans who know they now have a proven League Two winner on their hands.

He'll be a great signing. What a player!! Any chance of loaning him back to Boreham Wood for the rest of the season?
