Crawley Town have announced goalkeeper Glenn Morris has agreed on a new deal with the club.
Morris has signed a new one-year contract with the option of a further twelve months after continuing to impress with his solid performances between the sticks.
The experienced campaigner has made one hundred and forty-five outings for the Sussex outfit since joining from Gillingham in 2016. He’s also turned out for Leyton Orient, Aldershot and Southend in a long career.
The keeper is a popular figure amongst Red Devils having won the club’s Player of the Season award for the last three years.
The thirty-five-year-old told the club’s official website, ‘I’m delighted to have signed this new contract and I’m looking forward to playing a big part in what I believe is going to be a really exciting era for the club.’
The news was greeted with equal delight by many Crawley Town fans on social media, with some supporters of the opinion Morris is the best keeper in League Two.
