There’s mutiny at Gigg Lane as a Bury staff member took over their official site last night to issue a plea on behalf of all employees.
They’re claiming owner Steve Dale has received a viable offer for the club and they’re urging him to accept it for the future of the Shakers. It’s a remarkable turn of events that once again sees the club’s site used to further one side of the argument.
Usually it is Dale, launching into a tirade or rolling out tired rhetoric suggesting he’s right and the EFL are wrong. Instead, control of the site has been wrestled from him and used as a mouthpiece for the supporters.
Bury have yet to play a league fixture, with games against Accrington and Milton Keynes being postponed recently. Their Carabao Cup tie with Sheffield Wednesday has also fallen foul of the EFL’s ruling that they must provide evidence of financial means going forward.
It seems there is now a viable bid for the club, something that those on the inside feel is sufficient to secure the club’s future. We’ve had players outing the chairman as breaking promises, now the rank and file staff members have almost made a cry for help.
Where will this farcical situation end? Hopefully, with a football club for the loyal supporters and staff to carry forward from this awful fiasco.

Why have the @EFL still not taken action against your disgusting lowlife of an owner, should be forcibly removed.
Should be facing criminal charges too.

This statement is both brilliant and yet heart wrenching at the same time. No massive love for Bury but still, this is too much

Good luck if the @EFL had anything about them they should step in and force it through to protect the club for the sake of the staff and players

Right Dale, you have 12 hours before I leave for Italy and turn off all SM, do the right thing and sell now so I can have a good holiday. Otherwise could anyone DM with the outcome over the next 10 days, I just don’t want to keep looking, rather have the news straight, good/bad
