Swindon Town are plotting to sign striker Eoin Doyle from Bradford City according to reliable journalist Alan Nixon.
However, they face competition from Blackpool who are also trying to sign the forward according to the tweet by Nixon.

Doyle scored eleven goals for the Bantams last season ending up the club’s leading scorer in a disappointing campaign which ended with relegation to League Two.
Previously he scored thirteen League One goals in thirty outings for Oldham Athletic during a season-long loan from Preston in 2017/18, a season that also saw the Latics drop into the bottom tier of the EFL. Swindon Town manager Richie Wellens knows the striker from his time in charge at Oldham Athletic during that campaign.
The thirty-one-year-old has also had spells Chesterfield, Portsmouth and Cardiff in a much-travelled career.
The Irishman still has one year remaining on his current deal at Valley Parade following his arrival in Yorkshire from Deepdale in the summer of 2018 for an undisclosed fee on a two-year contract.
Our View
Doyle has still scored goals in two struggling League One sides in the last two seasons and would be an excellent signing for Swindon as they continue to have a great summer.
He would be a real handful and could be the final piece of the jigsaw for Wellens as he looks to mount a promotion challenge next season.
If Nixon is accurate and they can beat off League One interest for the striker it could be a coup for the Wiltshire outfit.
However, We feel that Blackpool and League One is a more likely destination for Doyle, if and it is a big if, Bradford decide to sell.
