‘He is laughing at us’ – Plenty of Bury fans are afraid for the future after latest development

Bury FC’s offices have been closed ‘until further notice’ today, a move which some believe could be the beginning of the end for the promoted League Two side.

Ryan Lowe oversaw a strong season on the field, with the Shakers finishing second in League Two, but off the pitch they’re in serious trouble. They’ve had two High Court dates postponed recently and face a real struggle to survive the summer.

Steve Dale only took over at Gigg Lane a few months ago, but players and staff have not been paid for three months now and their promotion joy seems to be a small victory in amongst a world of trouble.

With players openly revolting on Twitter, fans fearing the worst and a chairman who allegedly refuses to sell the club, the future looks very bleak indeed. Supporters and players alike are unhappy with Dale and the trouble which seems to have developed under his brief tenure.

Will they reopen their doors again, or have they closed for the last time at Gigg Lane? Some of these fans feel it might be the latter.
