19-year old striker Chris Sang has left Bury and joined Marine AFC on a short-term loan deal.
The Liverpool born forward joined the Shakers in July 2017 from Wigan Athletic and has made three appearances for the club. He has previously been on loan at Southport, where he played ten times, scoring once.
Sang played just twice for Bury, in League One, once as they slipped to a 3-0 defeat against Blackburn Rovers and again in a 1-0 win against Portsmouth. In total, his Football League minutes amount to six.
He also played 75 minutes of an EFL Trophy game last season, but hasn’t appeared at all this time around.
Our View
Makes sense, Sang looks to be one of those players who is destined to drop out of the league and hope to force his way back in.
Bury will want to see some development and Marine, two levels below the National League, will offer that chance.
