As we discussed last week, Michael Duff has been named as the new manager of Cheltenham Town.
The former Northern Ireland international defender will start work at Whaddon Road tomorrow having brought to an end a 14-year career with Burnley Football Club as a player then coach.
40-year old Duff was previously a member of the Cheltenham Town team that progressed from the Southern League to Football League One in five years under the management of Steve Cotterill.
Since retiring from the game he has been in charge of Burnley Under 23 squad and takes his first full time role in football.
Cheltenham fans seem delighted to have their former hero back, and a few Burnley fans have also been on Twitter to wish him well.
Seem like a popular appointment all round.
I didn`t think it would happen, brilliant news, but we must be patient with Michael and give him time to settle in.

Chuffed to bits for Duffo, will be forever regarded a Claret legend for us.
I wish him and Cheltenham the very best of luck for the season (and looking forward to the inevitable Burnley v Cheltenham friendly next season!)
