Cambridge United will want to back up their 1-0 win over Cheltenham Town, but will have to shake off their awful 24/25 season where they only won four times on the road on their way to getting relegated.

Swindon had a revival in the latter half on last season, and their home form improved. they scored 39 times, but did also let in 33. The inconsistency was the ruin of their campaign, and even away they were fairly even with 32 scored and 30 put past them. Last season was one to forget for Cambridge, as they managed only 20 goals on their travels, whilst conceding double that total. They did manage a more equal 25-33 split at home, so the potential to score is there, and they did get one last week to win on their return back into League Two.

Both teams are off the mark this season, with a goal apiece, but where Cambridge kept a clean sheet, Swindon let in twice. Ian Holloway was not just unhappy with the result to start the season, but was upset when a fan threw an object on the pitch. Stamping this out was his main concern, but he will have addressed the way his side lost a game during this week as well. a home game to get that out the system is most welcome, and he will look to Harry Smith to lead the line well, and hope that his midfield can support more. At the back they have last weeks goal scorer Will Wright, and with 20 year old Finley Munroe they have a good blend of experience and enthusiasm.
Veteran manager Neil Harris steered his Cambridge United team to a much needed win last week. The side was woeful last season and needed a good start or the doom watchers would’ve been out in full force. His match winner was Louis Appere, and he will be hoping he remains on form. Sullay Kaikai will be aided the scorer, and look for some steely creativity from Shane McLoughlin. The defence is solid, with Ben Purrington getting up and down, but it is 37 year old Michael Morrision who impressed last week and set a high bar.
