Our Three Predictions for Crewe Alexandra vs Bromley

  • First Prediction: Match to end in a draw – 11/5
  • Second Prediction: Both teams to score – 19/25
  • Third Prediction: Michael Cheek to score at any time – 12/5

First Prediction for Crewe Alexandra vs Bromley – Match to end in a draw – 11/5

With both sides having one eye on the playoffs, this will be a close-knit game between two sides wanting all three points. Crewe have wobbled in form over the festive period, but they are still firmly in and around the potential promotion spots. They suffered their first defeat in 14 league games on Boxing Day, but have not lost since. Bromley are in a similar vain of form, with Andy Woodman’s side not losing in 12 league matches. However, although both sides are in good form and unbeaten in a number of games, most of the results have ended in draws, with Alex drawing nine games this season and the Ravens drawing 10. The away side have drawn more matches than they have won and therefore all the arrows are directed towards the result ending level at full time.

Second Prediction for Crewe Alexandra vs Bromley – Both teams to score – 19/25

Both of these sides have good goalscoring records in the league this season. The Railwaymen have scored 29 goals in 23 games and score an average of 1.26 goals per match. The Ravens have an even better record and have scored 34 goals in 23 games. Their average goals scored per match currently sits at 1.48. This average would’ve been boosted by both sides scoring three goals against their opponents in the New Year’s Day fixtures, with Crewe putting three past Carlisle United and Bromley putting three past Gillingham. Despite both sides having good defensive records, the goalscoring promise these sides threaten is likely to come out ontop tomorrow.

Third Prediction for Crewe Alexandra vs Bromley – Michael Cheek to score at any time – 12/5

Bromley’s long-serving talisman Michael Cheek has not disappointed this season in terms of goals. Despite making the step up to the Football League, the 33-year-old has scored 12 goals in 23 League Two games this season. This makes him the joint second-highest scorer in the division, only two behind Walsall’s teenage sensation Nathan Lowe. Despite him failing to find the target in his last two league matches, the Englishman will no doubt be looking to add to his tally against Crewe.

Full Preview of the Game – Last Results and Head-To-Head

As previously mentioned, both sides come into this game in good form. The hosts have only lost once in their last five, drawn two and won two. The away side are unbeaten in 12 and have won three of their last five league games.

Both sides will be hoping for all three points, with Lee Bell’s side only one point off the automatic promotion spots, and Bromley three points off the play-off places. Depending on other results around the grounds, the Railwaymen could find themselves in the automatic spots. Andy Woodman’s side could potentially end the day in the last of the promotion spots,

These sides have only met each other once, and that was earlier this season. Crewe took all three points in that game after a dramatic late comeback which saw Chris Long score an injury-time winner after Bromley opened the scoring within five minutes.
