Charlton Athletic winger Corey Blackett-Taylor is being monitored by three Championship clubs ahead of a potential move in the January transfer window, according to a report by Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider.
The 26-year-old began his career in the Aston Villa academy, where he rose through the age groups before making his senior debut in 2017. He would only make one league appearance for the West Midlands club as he then moved onto Tranmere Rovers in 2019 following a short spell on loan at Walsall.
He impressed in his two seasons at Prenton Park enough to see him earn a move to the Addicks in the summer of 2021. Since then, he has made 75 league appearances for the club, netting on 16 occasions, and earning six assists.
However, it is this season where the winger has impressed the most, already amassing eight goal contributions in his first 19 matches.
This impressive form now seems to have placed him on the transfer radar of Hull City, Huddersfield Town and Plymouth Argyle, according to Football Insider.
The former England youth international only has six months left on his contract, after he signed a one-year extension in March earlier this year. Therefore, a move for Blackett-Taylor may come cheaper than in a typical transfer window, as the London side may wish to cash in on their man whilst they can.
Charlton may fear losing further attacking options after Michael Appleton confirmed the club are being cautious about the injury status of Miles Leaburn, and do not expect to see him back this season.
The Addicks are currently 10th in League One, following a 2-2 draw at The Valley against Cambridge United over the weekend and face a tough assignment away at Barnsley later on in the week.

Appleton, and his staff, are in a tricky situation with this potential transfer. On the one hand, if they cannot convince the winger to re-sign, they may wish to cash in on him before he potentially leaves on a free in the summer.
On the other hand, with injuries to Chuks Aneke and Leaburn, they may not wish to have their forward line depleted any further, especially if they are hoping to have a playoff charge in the second half of the season.
