Derby County host Exeter City tonight, and manager Paul Warne has had some very good news from the clubs’ treatment room.
Striker Tyreece John-Jules is getting close to full training again, according to reports in Derbyshire Live.
The young star, on loan from Premier League Arsenal, has only made a couple of appearances for The Rams since they managed to gain his services in the summer window.
On Loan Star
The 22-year-old forward has been sidelined with a quad injury that he has struggled to shrug off, but now it seems he could be back in training. This will be great news for Warne, as he comes under increasing pressure.

It has been a hugely frustrating time for the England Youth player, and he will be eager to get back in the frame and push for a starting role, to help not just his current team, but put himself back into the Arsenal set-up.
The North London giants have guided John-Jules through all of his career to date, but the opportunities to break into the first team were rare. As is so often the case, a loan spell does a player the world of good. Unfortunately, this has not been the case because of the injury.
Before joining Derby he also had spells at several clubs and managed to get some good game time as he made over 60 appearances, scoring nine goals.
With Derby underperforming so far, tonight’s game against Exeter will be a chance to get back to winning ways after they went down 1-0 at Shrewsbury Town this past weekend.

Tyreece John-Jules has had awful luck this season. His move to Derby should’ve been one to kick-start his career after other moves have left him a little short of any real consistent form. Having a parent club like Arsenal will always help his standing, and loan moves do often work out for the best.
He will be hoping that once back in training he can finally shake off the injury and start performing to his best capabilities. This will also be great news for Derby County as they try and move upwards in the League One table.
