‘Probably win more trophies there’ – These Spurs fans react as player make EFL loan switch

Lincoln City had a busy day yesterday, bringing in two and seeing 16-goal Tyler Walker recalled by Nottingham Forest.

Whilst the departure of Walker will make the headlines, the capture of Timothy Eyoma looks impressive. He’s a former England Under 17 World Cup winner who has appeared for Spurs first team in the FA Cup.

This season he’s appeared three times for the Under 21s in the EFL Trophy and arrives at Sincil Bank along with Akeem Hinds from Rotherham.

It’s not the first time Lincoln have signed a young international this season; they’ve also bagged Zack Elbouzedi and Conor Coventry from the Eire Under 21 setup, Aaron Lewis from Wales Under 21, Tyreece John-Jules who has played for England up to Under 19 level and Tayo Edun who was a UEFA European Under 19 Championship winner with England in 2017.

Eyoma is highly-rated at Spurs and has made the bench a few times in the Premier League, and will be looking to get minutes under his belt with the Imps, who are midtable in League One.

Spurs fans have reacted positively to their youngster heading out for senior football, as you’ll see below.
