Winger Omari Patrick has left Bradford City, joining National League side Wrexham on a month’s loan deal, as reported by the Leader Live.
The 23-year-old has struggled for chances this season under Gary Bowyer, making just two league appearances. He’s played 31 times since joining from Barnsley, scoring three goals.
He started his career with Beaconsfield SYCOB, earning a trial with Oxford United before a move to Kidderminster Harriers. He only made 18 appearances for them before relegation but did enough to earn a trial and subsequent contract with Barnsley Under 23s. He didn’t make the grade at Oakwell and move to the Bantams, enjoying a loan spell with Yeovil.
He’s been deemed as surplus to requirements for the League Two promotion hopefuls and moves to the Red Dragons with them 22nd in the fifth-tier. It’s been a tough 12 months for the Welsh side, who were amongst the promotion hopefuls last season before Sam Ricketts moved to Shrewsbury.
Patrick doesn’t appear to be the most popular player at Valley Parade, with the fans reaction to the move being mixed at best.
