Plymouth Argyle have announced they have sold out their allocation for the visit to Swindon Town ten days before the League Two clash.
The club have informed supporters that all 2,300 tickets have been snapped up for the match with the Robins and that they have asked for more tickets.
It is another excellent effort from the Green Army who continue to pack away ends in League Two despite their location, which makes long, arduous journeys the norm. Indeed, they recently sold out all 1152 of their allocation for the relatively short trip to Devon rivals Exeter City in under two hours.
Before they travel to Wiltshire, the Pilgrims welcome Scunthorpe United to Home Park looking to build on last week’s impressive 1-0 win at Mansfield, when 550 supporters made the nine-hour round trip to Nottinghamshire.
It is incredible support which Plymouth fans are rightly proud, and while they have had a stop-start beginning to their League Two campaign, they remain optimistic of promotion back to League One at the first attempt under new manager Ryan Lowe.
Judging by the reaction to the news on social media, momentum is building in Devon with a real feelgood factor around the club. Many fans believe the tremendous support shows the massive potential of the club and are excited for the future under Lowe and owner Simon Hallett.
Here is a selection of responses to the announcement on Twitter.
