Mansfield Town have announced their goal of the month for February and it’s fair to say it’s taking the Twitter world by storm.
A relative tap-in from Jorge Grant has stolen the show, suggesting they didn’t score too many during the month of February.
It’s the second month in a row the Nottingham Forest loanee has won goal of the month, but this strike was different because, well, this strike wasn’t that special at all.
The Stags are on course for automatic promotion from League Two, vying with Bury and Lincoln City for the League Two title, but the quality of their goals must be low if this is their goal of the month.
Fans have taken to Twitter to say pretty much the same thing, wondering if there’s a punchline they’ve missed, or a few matches the media team might have slept through.
