Barnsley FC defender Jordan Williams is a summer target for Championship trio Sheffield United, Middlesbrough and Norwich City, according to Football League World.
The 23-year-old has had an excellent season to date in League One and given his goal-related statistics this season, it is no surprise that the full-back has a list of possible suitors in the second tier, with two of those sides currently competing for automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Barnsley currently sit 4th in League One at the time of writing, six points ahead of the sides currently chasing the play-off places, such as Wycombe and Peterborough.
Williams has made 30 League One appearances so far this season, scoring five goals and assisting a further five, which for a right-back is very impressive.
He has also made three further appearances in cup competitions this season for the club, picking up an additional assist for the club, taking his total tally to 11 goal contributions in 33 games, or one every three matches.
No bids have officially been launched due to the window being shut until June, but it is likely that the interest in the full-back will continue to rise, even if Michael Duff’s side earn promotion back to the Championship at the end of this season.
Williams also has a high amount of Championship experience, having been at Oakwell since 2018, having joined from Huddersfield Town and has had a previous loan stint with Bury FC back when they were a football league club.

Williams has been one of the best full-backs (stats wise) in the football league so far this season and the level of interest in his services is definitely deserved.
His goal contributions are also likely to rise given Barnsley are continuing to fight for automatic promotion or play-offs at the very least, with some big league matches to come.
